The Spireites will be hoping to bounce back after losing their unbeaten record at home to Mansfield last weekend. They have signed Chris Porter on a month’s loan from Sheffield United because of gnanduillet and Richards both injury doubts. Morecambe are 9th in the table having won 4, drawn 3 and lost 2.

Midfielder Andy Fleming (foot) made his return for the reserves in midweek. Striker Jack Redshaw (hip) is still side lined until November.

Bentley will hand a late fitness test to midfielder Marcus Marshall who could make his return from a hamstring injury.

Player to watch: Kevin Ellison

The winger has scored 26 goals from 72 League goals. He will be a real threat and the Spireites defence will have to be on their toes.

Chesterfield Team News:

Cook announced they have 4 players unavailable, which could be Smith Gnanduillet and Richards, the other is rumoured to be Drew Talbot. Which could mean a start for Ian Evatt with Sam Hird moving to right-back. Chris Porter will be in the squad after arriving on loan from Sheffield United.

Player to watch: Jimmy Ryan

Jimmy Ryan could be a key player in this game, having been given the role of the enforcer by Cook since he signed in the summer. He covers every blade of grass in midfield, breaks up play, then orchestrates the midfield, rarely making a bad pass,
