Weekend V Sheffield United

A Sell-out crowd is expected at the Proact this Saturday for the derby match between Chesterfield and their close neighbours Sheffield United.
At time of writing a few home seats are available in east stand E1 but you have to hurry.

Man to watch on the blades team is Michael Higton a former Norwegian and Motherwell striker, who was targeted by Paul Cook this summer but they could not agree terms.

The Spirerites need to close down the attack of United, from the opening whistle, and prevent the spectre of a repeat of last weekend as early pressure made their task harder. Chesterfield have proved they are able to hold their heads high in division one. A remarkable thing for the leagues newbies. To play fluid attacking football for ninety minutes is hard, very hard, to defend for ninety minutes without the mistakes is harder!
