PREVIEW FOR SATURDAY 18/10/2014
CHESTERFIELD V OLDHAM K.O 1500 HRS

The fans are in for a treat tomorrow when the lactics come to town, they have an unbeaten run of 10 games, showing their pedigree, and some stylish passages of play. Definitely out for the lactics will be Jonathan Forte, but they do welcome back Genri Casunga from international duties along with Adam Lockwood (shoulder injury), they have an impressive line-up. And the game should be a flowing one.
Chesterfield manager Paul Cook (manager) said of his team, “we are 6th in a league of good teams unluckily we end up losing games by allowing the other team to score just before half time,”
Tomorrow will the Lactics play similar tactics to The Derby against the Blades. And spent most of the 1st half in defence after a 10 minute sprint to try to grab a goal. Allowing Chesyerfield to make most of the attacking play until the end of the 1st half, then they go all out to catch up any goal deficit and hopefully if time allows a win in the 2nd half.
Whatever happens and despite only winning one of the last 5 games The Spirites, are newcomers to the league and to be lying 6th in a table that has teams like Oldham, Sheffield United, and Bristol city is no mean feat
