New striker nets Spireites double

Signed to get the goals that will take Chesterfield FC out of League Two at the first attempt this season, Marc Richards showed those Spireites supporters who were in attendance at Matlock on Tuesday just what he can do when netting twice in a 45-minute appearance.


The former Port Vale man told the official club website: ‘If we keep working hard as we are in pre-season training and getting results in games and good performances, hopefully we’ll take that into the start of the season.’
