Days after winning the youth league title, Lee Richardson sat down the champions of the Puma Youth Alliance and awarded out professional contracts.

Striker Jordan Bowery and goalkeeper Matt Malak were lucky enough to be given the opportunity of signing professional contracts at Saltergate.

An impressive season as saw Bowery become the Spireites top marksman with a hat trick at York finishing his time off in Dave Bentley`s squad.

Bowery has already been a part of Richardson`s squad before making four appearances from the substitutes bench this season.

Malak is another player that has been impressive throughout the season with his superb goalkeeping skills being one of the best in the league.

Both players will be on short term contracts and will hopefully be given the opportunities that ex Spireite youth players have been given this year, Dan Gray and Ben Algar.

Everyone at Vital wishes the pair every success for the future.
