Jamie Devitt has agreed a contract extension until the end of the season. He originally signed a six month contract during the summer, after putting in some impressive displays during his trial after being released by Hull City.

Although he has found first team appearances limited he has still managed to make 8 team appearances and has been reliable when called upon. He can cross with ether foot and has delivered some very dangerous crosses. Full of pace and energy the tricky winger can cause opponents defenders a real headache.

Paul Cook told the club website: ‘Jamie is a great lad to have at the club and he possibly should have had more opportunities to play in the first team. He ticks all the right boxes for us and hopefully he will have more minutes on the pitch between now and the end of the season.’
