Another weekend and we’re back in league 1 action, after a midweek break, with us at home.

Chesterfield are back at the Proact this afternoon with Notts County the visitors, as we seek to get back to winning ways against a side on a very good run of form of their own.

Sam Morsy suffered a knock against Doncaster Rovers in our defeat last weekend and is a doubt.

It is hoped that key man Gary Roberts (hamstring) can be fit to return following injury though.

Notts County could have Blair Adams (thigh) and Hayden Mullins (leg) back after injury with Kyle Dixon (ankle) close to full fitness but Reece Brown is back with parent club Birmingham City for treatment on an injury.

Ahead of the game boss Paul Cook told BBC Radio Sheffield: ‘There’s a really good atmosphere around the club in general even though we’ve only got two points from our last two games.

‘At the moment I have players telling me they are fit to play but a physio telling me that they aren’t.

‘Shaun Derry has done a fantastic job there and he is obviously one of the bright young managers about.

‘Shaun will know that he is going to get a tough test here.’
