Strikers have six appeal for Sheridan

Tuesday night’s JPT win at Walsall kept up Chesterfield’s impressive record of having scored in each of their games to date this season.

Craig Davies got off the mark at Macclesfield last weekend and fellow summer signing Dean Morgan opened his account at the Bescot Stadium in midweek.

‘I’ve got six strikers and every one of them is good enough to be in the starting line-up so we’ll certainly score goals,’ John Sheridan told the official Football League website.
