The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Port Vale this weekend.

Chesterfield host Port Vale on Saturday April 2 for the game at the Proact Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Kevin Wright
Linesmen: Marvyn Amphlett and Karl Evans
Fourth Official: Declan Bourne

Match Day referee Wright has officiated one Chesterfield game this season.

He has however already taken in 31 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 97 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Shrewsbury and Gillingham on November 28 with a total of five yellows being shown. He’s shown four yellow cards on nine occasions so far this year as well.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
