The League 1 season continues with weekend games, with all played on Saturday. Among this schedule is a game for Chesterfield against Barnsley at Oakwell with this a 3pm kick-off.

In the last game having come from behind a four-two win for Chesterfield over Port Vale improved the Spireites’ chances of staying in League 1.

Port Vale were one-up at half time through AJ Leitch-Smith 36th-minute opener but two-minutes into the second half Jamal Campbell-Ryce equalised with Sam Hird then heading Chesterfield ahead on the hour.

On 70-minutes JJ Hooper curled Port Vale level but three-minutes later Gboly Ariyibi restored the lead with Jay O’Shea’s making sure from 20-yards on 83-minutes to move Chesterfield up to 17th and five-points clear of trouble.

What will happen in this one though?

Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for the Spireites come the full time whistle.
