Chesterfield’s JPT Northern Area final against Oldham Athletic on Monday will be settled after 90 minutes of play and then a penalty shoot-out if the scores over two legs are level on aggregate.

The competition rules do not allow for extra-time.

The Spireites take a 2-1 advantage to Boundary Park for the televised game and Oldham manager Paul Dickov has urged his side’s supporters to come out in force.

He told the official OAFC website: ‘We know we will get the 3,500-4,000 hardcore who come all the time and back us all the way.

‘What I am asking is for the other 1,500-2,000 who went to Liverpool and made all that noise to come down and spur on the lads.’
