He scored five goals in the time he spent at the Spireites and each goal resulted in a win for the Spireites. He would make well timed runs into the box, he was a constant threat to the opposition.

He goes straight into the Huddersfield squad for the game on Tuesday against Middlesborough, with Adam Clayton and Keith Southern both suspended it leaves them thin in midfield. Simon Grayson speaking to htafc.com: ‘Chris has done very well during his loan spell at Chesterfield. We’ve monitored him very closely and the loan spell has been perfect for his personal development, exactly what we wanted. We believe that it is now the correct time to bring him back to Huddersfield Town and the challenge for him is to now break into our First Team. Chris will travel with the squad for Tuesday night’s game at Middlesbrough.’

I would like to wish him well and thank him for his contribution to the team. He will be missed by the team and the fans.

I think Cook must have known this might happen that’s why he got O’Shea to come in on loan. The good thing is the Spireites have plenty of midfielders to choose from including O’Shea, Randall (shin) when fit, Clay and Boa Morte.
